Yowani Pro-Am

At the Yowani Pro-Am I have shot a score of 70 (-2) placing T11th. Another chilly morning start to the Canberra Pro-Am series warming up to be a breathless day. Just like Queanbeyan Pro-Am I last played Yowani 6 years ago and could only remember a couple of holes.

Off the tee you must be straight at Yowani and I did just that missing 2 fairways. It was a grind start to the round playing 6 holes until I made a birdie then two holes later making another on the long par 5 the 4th.

Through the middle section of the round I made some great par saves to keep the round in check but with 5 holes left I had a drop shot on the 9th hole not making up and down.

Couldn’t muster a bounce back on the par 5 10th after being in the fairway off the tee however the last birdie of the day came at the last hole of the day the 14th, rolling in a 30ft putt ending on a good note.

Tomorrow is the Federal Pro-Am teeing off in the afternoon shotgun start. Looking forward to watching Peter Senior and Gary Edwin conduct a clinic from 10-11am. Peter will also be playing in the event.
