Round 2 Wuhan Open – PGA Tour China
At the commencement of play for day two at the Wuhan Open, PGA Tour China Tour I have played 14 holes and hit my tee shot off the 15th. Play has been suspended due to darkness and I am currently one over today and 6 over for the tournament.
Again the weather conditions were wet and misty. The rain definitely did not get to the heaviness we had yesterday but it was still somewhat hanging around turning up every now and then. The golf course is playing long and usually you have to take an extra club into the greens.
After being 2 over through 5 holes with a 3 putt and a missed fairway I rallied back on 6 and 7 with birdies to have even par for my 1st nine holes.
On my 11th hole I was faced with a par 3 where I thought my shot was all over the pin only to come up short in the bunker resulting in a bogey due to a plug lie. Unable to make birdie on the easy par 5 4th was disappointing.
Overall a solid day and I am sure I have moved up a few spots in the tournament. Staying patient and waiting to get hot now the conditions are easing up for the weekend. Bring on the sunshine!
