Round 2 Continued – New Pioneer Motors City of Mackay Open

After round two of the Mackay Open I have shot a score of 67 (-4) to be 4 under total and in T16th position. The tournament has now dropped to a 54 hole event as this mornings play was washed out only completing the rest of round two.
With two club lengths preferred lies through the green announced it was stand up and rip off the tee. With two clubs lengths it was easy most times to find a gap to the flag.
Mackay is not the longest of courses and taking the driver off the tee put you in wedge range more often for your approach to make the birdie putt. Hence lower scores than the 1st round for round 2.
I hit the ball consistently well throughout the day hitting my targets. The putter showed some light holing a couple of outside range putts. That will always make for a lower score.
Tomorrows tee time is 9am.
