Australian PGA Pre Qualifier Wynnum GC

After Aus PGA Pre Q at Wynnum I have shot a score of 65 (-5) to place 4th missing by one shot and 1 player for a playoff – 2nd alternate for the pre Q players only.

With 8 birdies for the day I had 6 of them on my front 9 for 3 under making no pars. Making the turn I birdied 13 and 14 before hitting the last 4 greens to not sink any putts for birdie from 2.5, 5, 5 and 9m lipping our on the last. I had a feeling 6 was the number.

Gave it my all but certainly frustrating to let it slip through the fingers and be so close to play the PGA. My only chance now is to get through my category and I am 10th reserve. Likely to just miss there too so on the way home.
