Riverside Oaks (Gangurru) Open Match

After the Riverside Oaks Open Match I have finished with a score of 74 (+2) to place T11th.

Westerly winds blew up before we stepped foot on the course around 25-35km/h. After starting on the 10th hole I made a double bogey 1st up an easy par 5. Again another bad start to a 1 day event. Made a birdie on the 12th to get back a shot although my 2nd 3 putt of the day happened on the 16th before a missed green at 17th from 80m hurt making bogey going into my back nine

Hitting all the greens in regulation from there, 18 through to my last hole. Gave myself plenty of chances. I managed to make one birdie putt on the last which was a tap in. Certainly the putting is suffering my game and I am playing much better than what my scores show of recent. If you can ball strike it to a level putting is certainly where the game is at. Unfortunately it just is not there for me currently.

The trend is continuing but nothing hard work, patience and seeing my coach can’t fix to calm the mind at this current time. All about working at the game and building some confidence back before the next 4 round event in the middle of October the WA Open. Thanks everyone for your support. Next event is Shelly Beach in Friday.
