2nd Round Zhuhai Phoenix Tree Open – PGA Tour China

After the 2nd round of the Zhuhai Phoenix Tree Open I have shot a score of 78 (+7) to be 10 over par total and running T54th making the weekend.

I went about my round totally different to any other round I have played before attacking early trying to and move and force myself somewhat close to the leaders early to potentially place myself in a position to win/have a high finish but it back fired around this watery, tight course. Taking driver off most tees today I was unable to get myself in play and had hit my ball into 5 hazards on the 1st nine from the tee.😅

I later toned down my aggressive play a little and produced a 1 under score on my back nine to make the cut for the week. Since being a fair way back I can now focus on playing my normal golf and move my way back up the leader board to achieve a reasonable finish for the week playing my game plan I had in mind for the 1st round.
