1st Round Clearwater Bay Open – PGA Tour China

After the 1st round of the Clearwater Bay Open, PGA Tour China I have shot a score of 81 (+10) to be coming 115th. Early on the wind was up and with the newly cut perfect greens I had a hard time with the putter. 4 putting my 2nd hole for a double bogey and not making up and down at the 12th missing a short opportunity for par was a hard start.

Another drop shot came at a par 5 15th where birdies are plenty due to a 3 putt and another 3 wack at 17, bogey too. Close chances for birdie to turn my game around came at 18, 2, 3 & 4 hitting them all inside 3m not being able to buy a putt before a drive off the 5th tee, hitting the ball in the hazard. Going back on the line of sight I felt I could attack the green for regulation being a par 5 but ended up hitting 2 more in the same hazard making an 11.
