Round 4 – Ian Weigh Toyota Rockhampton Pro Am

After the 4th and final round of the Rockhampton Pro-Am I have shot 77 (+5) to be 10 over in total and T55th.

The day started off with a heavy fog for the third day in a row which is not common for Rockhampton Golf Club. Teeing off in the first group at 6:50am, we were able to complete 2 holes before the fog actually worsened. We were told to wait for a decision, or hopefully the fog to clear; but unfortunately we had to postpone the rest of the play until 10:30am.

It turned out to be a beautiful day, reaching a high temperature of 28C, hard to believe it is winter.

I am able to assess my game today and note that my long-game is up to scratch and I am extremely happy with this aspect. That being said, to produce the scores I have had today and yesterday the putting has been a challenge. I am putting the extra attention and effort into my putting and I hope to see the hard work pay off in the next coming events.

Next event is JRT/TAG Yeppoon Golf Classic 4 day Pro Am.
