Round 3 Northern Territory PGA Championships

21151726_1972149346366082_3082530199377285860_nAfter the 3rd round of the Northern Territory PGA Championships I have shot a score of 66 (-5) bogey free to be 8 under total T10th.

Again hardly a breath of wind all day although very hot and that is the way I started with birdies on the 1st and 2nd. Close approaches on the next 3 holes within 3m missing making par hurt.

Another birdie came at 7 holing a 5m putt down the hill. Hitting 8, 9 and 10 greens I rolled another in at 10. 9 I had a 3 putt par on the par 5. Momentum picked up at 11 making a big save after hitting a tree off the tee and having 200m in.

On 12 a birdie flowed again from 6m before a reachable par 5. Having 7 iron in I got my top in front of my lower half starting the down swing and ball went sailing left hitting a tree and bounced towards the green. Chip onto the green just for a 7m putt shaving the edge for birdie. This really killed all momentum.

Missing the next 2 greens I made up and down before hitting 16 and 17 making pars. Had 40m in on the last not making up and down for birdie either. Really a day that could have been anything. Still another move in the right direction on moving day. Well in the hunt.

Teeing off tomorrow for the final round at 10.30am in the 4th last group. Make sure to be watching PGA TV on Facebook. #NTPGA PGA Tour of Australasia
