4th Round Chongqing – PGA China Tour
4th round at the Chongqing Kingrun Open, PGA Tour China I have shot a score of 73 (+1) to be 2 under total and T39th.
Due to the heat yesterday and today the greens started to get firm and crusty especially on the back nine.
To start the round off I missed the 1st two greens and mad up and down saves before another up and down at the short par 4 3rd produced a birdie. Had a par 5 next where I did not capitalise on my close birdie chance.
Missing the green short side on 5 I fort hard for a bogey as I chipped the ball only meters in front of me. From there I had 4 solid pars to end out the front nine plus par up 10 too.
A strong flighted 5iron on the par 3 11th sent my ball just rolling over the green chipping back to a down slope where I crafted an excellent recovery unfortunately missing a 4ft putt for par. Driver went into the hazard on 12 on the short par 4 compounded the error on the previous hole making a career par. Birdie on 13 was easy done too.
