Yamba Pro Am

After the Yamba Pro Am I have shot a score of 72 Ev to be T14th hitting 13 greens and 31 putts.

When I arrive to the course the greens were under water and everyone was not sure if we were going to get the day done but we went out with some pauses throughout the 1st few holes then the rain eased off for the afternoon field.

Starting on the 12th the easy section of the course I was 3 over through 6 holes which included 2 par 5’s that I could reach playing some terrible golf.

With 12 holes to go I was pleased with myself that I had no bogies with birdies on 18, 4 and 9 to finish out the day. In those last 12 holes I missed one green in regulation. Bit disappointed to not make some more birdies hitting my approaches quite close at times. Again pleased with my effort to ground out a score when I was over par so early to hang in and fight back to gain some $$$ for the day.

Tomorrow is the last round of the trip teeing off in the morning at Casino Golf Club. I feel a good result looming before I return back to Manly to work on Tuesday.
