Western Australian Open Round 3

After the 3rd round of the Western Australian Open I have shot a score of 74 (+2) to be Even Par Total T33rd hitting 15 greens 35 putts.

Another hot day with wind building as the day went on topping to 30km/h at 3pm when all was off the course.

Starting on the 1st hole I hit the 1st 3 greens in regulation making pars. Missed a 2.5m birdie putt on 3 the par 5 which hurt momentum but felt as though I gained it back with my best up and down of the week on the next. Hitting the next 6 greens in a row from 12m, 10m, 3m, 14m, 4m and 15m I made no birdies and walked away 3 over through that stretch.

Nice save on 11 and 12 steadied the ship. Few more greens in reg hitting the rest of the greens I gained a shot back at 16 after driving a par 4 greenside and the next closest opportunity was from 2.5m on 15.

My best ball striking day all year matched with my worse putting display. Nevertheless I am still in it for a good finish. Keeping positive they will drop tomorrow. Teeing off at 8.50am for the 4th round.
