At the Heartfield Pro-Am I have shot a score of 69 (-3) to finish T6th.
Today was one of the craziest rounds I have had in a while. Starting on the 7th hole shotgun start I went double bogey, bogey to be 3 over through 2 holes backing up on the next with an eagle finishing 3 holes on the front side.
After some more sloppy golf making bogey on 10 from the fairway with wedge in hand I started to shape up and get ahold of my game. Finally a par at 11 steadied the ship before birdie at 12 from 15 feet, left to right, down the hill on the par 3.
15 the par 3 I hit the ball to the front edge with a back flag and holed a 40 foot putt for birdie. I mean this round was laughable for my playing partners and myself at this time.
17 I made a 3 putt bogey from 12 feet but bounced back on the par 5 18th with an up and down birdie from over the back of the green to turn 1 under.
Then birdies at 2, 4 and 5 with an up and down finish for par helped to complete another good round for the week. What a day! 6 birdies and an eagle.
Tomorrow is the 1st round of 2 at the Cottesloe Open teeing off a 7.26am. Looking forward to a 2 round event after 4 straight 1 day events leading into China next week.
