Shelly Beach Pro-Am

After Shelly Beach I have finished with a score of 72 (+1) to place T9th. The day was an awesome one with nice temps touching 25 and light winds from the north east.

Starting on the 15th the easy par 5 I drove the ball into the bunker which is the only place you could not go for the green in two having 165m from the trap with a big lip. Slow start again out of the blocks again being 1 over through 2 holes making bogey at 16 off another poor drive.

Heading into the front nine I made an easy birdie up the 1st before making 2 in a row at 3 and 4. Missed greens at 6 and 8 I made bogies giving the birdies back. Soft par at nine on a par 5 having 2 iron in was another killer to add the the bogies. Coming home another drop shot appeared at the 11th from a blocked out wedge approach not making up and down.
