Round 4 Northern Territory PGA Championships
After the 4th round of the Northern Territory PGA Championships I have shot a score of 71 (Ev) to be 8 under total T16th.
Again hardly a breath of wind all day until the final few holes. It was the hottest out of all the days.
Through the front nine I had a load of chances at birdie kind of like the 3rd round. Greens in regulation came at 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 only making birdies at 2 and 6. At the 2nd I had an eagle chance inside 3m as well. No bogies.
Going into the back nine I would have like to have been one better although still a great position. After making up and down at 10 for par a flyer at 11 put my ball on the back edge. A nice chip and run 9 iron to 2m missing the putt for bogey hurt momentum. Another up and down at 12 was great before going into a par 5 and to not birdie it was plain disgusting to be honest.
Hitting the next at the long par 3 I 3 putted to make my 2nd bogey go the day. Just a pure let down. Hitting greens at 15, and 18 for pars and making up and down at 16 and 17 to finish.
Overall a solid week and not far from an excellent result. Especially after tripling my 2nd hole of the tournament and playing the par 5’s in a below average fashion. Best part of the week was the 45 holes without a bogey from the 19th hole to the 64th hole.
