Round 3 Rebel Sport New Zealand Masters

After the 3rd round of the Rebel Sport New Zealand Masters I have shot a score of 71 (Ev) to be 3 over total T17th. 17 greens 35 putts. Moving forward 12 spots on moving day. The weather conditions were cool and the windy particularly on this course with how quick the the fairway and green surfaces are.

Starting on the 1st I hit 16 greens in regulation before missing my 1st green on a 180m par 3 short in a bunker not making up and down. Making 2 bogies in a row on 6 and 7 due to 3 putts was annoying although the 7th there was no chance in the world from where I was on the green to have a 2 putt for par.

A shot to 2m on 10 I finally made my 1st birdie of the day. 8iron chip and run on 12 to less than a foot for birdie and there was my 2nd. But it was a great feeling to hole the last putt of the round in front of the club house from 3m to shoot level.

Impressive day in those conditions with my ball striking. There is a teams event for the amateurs that we played with in the final 2 rounds and we had 64 (-8) to be well in contention to compete for some good prizes in the final round. Teeing off tomorrow at 9.20am.
