Round 1 Wanda Open – PGA Tour China
After round 1 of the Wanda Open, PGA Tour China I have shot a score of 72 (Ev) to be T30th.
After starting with a birdie on the 1st a miss shot at the 3rd par 3 I made bogey were I was lucky to have found my ball. With some easy holes to come I made a good up and down on 5 for birdie to give it back at the next 2 holes hitting it in the bushes and 3 putting at the next.
A great 3 play hole on the par 5 9th I sunk a putt for another birdie but again gave it back at the next missing the green. 2 birdies in a row flowed at 12 and 13 after a close approach and green under regulation.
Solid finish although missing the green at 15 I was in a tough position to make a par. Solid performance today and one I am proud of. This course is a tough track and I believe it could even be the toughest so far on the PGA Tour China.
