Round 1 Cadillac Open – PGA Tour China

Throwback Thursday to when I came to China for the 1st time. 2008 I came over to China representing Golf Australia in the Arron Baddeley side.

After the 1st round of the Cadillac Championships, PGA Tour China Tour I have shot a score of 70 (-2) to be T45th.

This weeks course is very easy as you can tell from my score and its position. The morning field had it a little tougher than the afternoon field with consistent rain throughout the morning. It was an up and down day for me today having 5 birdies, an eagle, 3 bogies and a double bogey.

Best part of the day was holing 6 putts over 21ft but that was given back by missing 3 putts inside 3ft. After my double at the par 3 16th I managed to bounce back with an eagle 2 at 17 driving the green.

Overall it is a start and I can now start clawing the leaders back but some low scores will be needed from hear on in. The winning score could be 18 under or better. Be nice to beat my best 4 round total of 16 under.‪#‎throwbackthursdays‬
