Picture with my Grandma who has been watching me play for the past two days. This maybe the last time she watches me play before she leaves this Earth. She has always inspired me and started the family off in golf 60 or more years ago.

After round 2 of the Queensland PGA Championships I have had a score of 67 (-3) to be 4 under total and in T21st with the afternoon field still to play.

Playing solid golf and ticking every box from tee to green on the my front nine I was a chance on shooting something scary. Walking away with 3 under on that nine the harder nine was to come.

During this nine there was a momentum slip on holes 3 and 4. Missing 2 putts inside 3m respectively birdie and par although this was set up with two fantastic up and downs and on holes 1 and 2.

Again I did my best to finish out the round setting up 4 opportunities in a row for birdies from close range only making one. On the last I missed the fairway right blocked out by the trees. Had to chip out to 60m and pitched it to a foot to save par. Made the weekend and looking to keep moving up the leader board and continue to make my Grandma proud of me.
