Putian Open Monday Practice Round – PGA Tour China

Monday afternoon nine holes practice round with this guy John Paul! He is flying the 🇺🇸 flag and one of the nicest guys you will meet on tour. This golf course this week has to be rated number 1 on tour for toughness. The course is on steroids. Long and tight with some of the biggest opposite slopes to a natural running fairway. The greens are undulating more than ever as some of the slopes are taller than me.

(2nd picture) A tee shot off the 5th plays something like 45m down hill. Meaning you have to take that off your normal yardage making what would be a down hill shot a flat shot and there are many of these drops and slopes around the course. 18 holes today and hear the back nine is harder. Bring on the week!
