Pre Qualifying New Zealand Open

Today I played the Monday Pre Qualifying for the New Zealand Open Championships and shot a score of 74 (+3) to miss by 3 shots.

After a 3 putt at the 1st and triple at the 5th from a bad tee shot it was a tough ask to qualify from there. I continued on when others would have walked off the course as you are allowed to do at a Pre – Q.

From there I made an eagle at 17 which came close to an Albatross which brought a smile to my face. Booked a flight home to Brisbane tonight looking forward to seeing my Wife. Next event is the Queensland PGA Championships which starts on the 17th of March.
