Practice Round for Valero Texas Open Monday Pre Qualifier
Here I am at the Valero Texas Open! Such an awesome place to take a holiday or better to play golf in possibly a US PGA Tour event. This coming Monday I will be teeing it up for the best 4 scores to make it into the event out of approximately 100 guys from either web.com or other tours around the world.
There are 36 holes here at TPC San Antonio. For the Monday the qualifiers I will be playing on the Greg Norman design, Canyons course where as the 72 hole Valero Texas Open will be played on the Oaks. Both courses in their own right amazing and difficult at that.
Yesterday I played a practice round around the Canyons course where I was deciding what my game plan is going to be for Monday. The day of the Qualifying and leading into the Monday San Antonio is meant to have some rough weather. Storms, heavy rain and windy conditions are in the forecast. This weather is also not going to stop till the 1st round of the real event on Thursday. The bad weather will make scores high on the Monday which suits me well with my low ball flight.
