NSW Open Championship
At the NSW Open Championship the 2nd round spilled over into day 3. I woke this morning awaiting if I was going to make the cut eagerly waiting.
Before the day began I was inside the cut line but very quickly that changed. Most of the morning I slowly drifted away from the cut line but before long the gap started to close as apparently the weather conditions got worse.
The PGA of Australia sent a message out to all the players saying the 3rd round will commence at 1pm. With the cut getting ever so close to being -2 I had a decision to make at 11am. Do I drive out to the course or not being an hour away.
At one stage there was 2 players that had to drop from -3 to my total if the cut was to change. It was so close but unfortunately it was not to be. The old phrase of just one shot less.
With now missing the cut I draw my attention to Pre Qualifying for the Australian Masters on Monday the 16th. Tee times are out for this and I will be teeing off at 11.40am at Long Island Golf Club. There is a lot of players for 6 spots. We will see what this day brings. #nswopen
