Muree Pro Am

After the Muree Pro Am I have shot a score of 68 (-3) to finish T9th having hit 12 greens 30 putts.

Heading out early the course was presented for low scores. Starting on the 6th I birdied 7, 9 and 10 to start hot. At 11 I did have a chance for a 2 putt birdie on a par 5 but missed a short one to make par which caught me off guard. After dropping momentum there I picked some back up straight away with a great short side save at 12 before hitting the next 5 greens in a row making birdies at 14 and 15 to get to 5 under through 10 holes.

I made brilliant save at 18 from a medium bunker shot to keep the flow going and then had 2 birdie chances at the 1st and 2nd from 4 and 3m to go to 6 red not making any. With 3 holes to go I kept pushing to continue the good playing hitting a couple of bad shots where I did not make up and down on 3 and 4 finishing with a par at the last.

It was great to be under par so early in a round and feel the game is back in good shape. Edging closer.
