Greater Shepperton Masters Round 2
After the 2nd round of the Greater Shepperton Masters I have shot a score of 68 (-4) to be 4 under total over the 2 days placing T19th. 11 greens 24 putts.
This completes the 2017 Pro Am series for this year. I have ended up achieving my goal of coming top 20 on the Ladbrokes Pro Am Series Order Of Merit placing 18th. This outcome will give me a category for the 2018 Australian Tour being category 17. So I won’t have to rely on so many invites and pre qualifying rounds although it is one of the higher categories for 2018. With this category I am now fully exempt on 2 tours for 2018 including the PGA Tour of China.
It was announced a few days ago that both the US and European China Tours will be taking place next year. Meaning there will be close to 30 events. Awesome if you have 2 cards up there. Although I did not retain my card this year in China on the European Tour due to lack of funds. I was notified I am exempt for the US PGA Tour for 2018 due to the missed year of the US PGA in China as I finished 26th of the Order of Merit in 2016. Top 50 gaining a category.
Next event is an event where I try and improve my 2018 Australian Tour category. Final stage of the Australian Tour School starting on Tuesday the 19th.
