Chatswood Pro-Am
After the Chatswood Pro-Am I have shot a score of 67 (+2) coming T16th. Teeing off in the morning shotgun the day was overcast and windless. We were impacted with rain for 3 holes but not enough to put up the umbrella.
Starting on the 10th I got off to a good start. In the 1st 3 holes I was 2 under making the birdies on 11 and 12 which was my only birdies for the day. I had one bogey on my front nine coming at 16 where I hit an 8iron off the par 3 into the hazard making up and down. After a great drive on 17 I was set up to make the birdie but missed my closest chance of the nine. I was disappointed to be 1 under at the turn after the start.
Including the 18th green I missed the next 9 greens in regulation and the 9th was a touch and go decision for being on the putting green. It was my worst ball striking for nine holes since I started back recording. At the beginning of the nine I was hanging in with some solid up and downs until a bogey came at the 3rd missing a putt from 4m. The next bogey appeared at the 7th from a bad 8 iron and just like that another on the last where I hit the green.
6 greens and 24 putts. Worst ball striking and the best putting since recording. Lol. The Pro-Am today was a non order of merit event so no changes to the top 20 Ladbrokes Pro-Am Series. Teeing off at Asquith tomorrow at 12.30pm.
