Casino Pro-Am
After the Casino Pro-Am I have shot a score of 67 (-3) bogey free finishing T6th. On the drive out to Casino there was plenty of rain but the forecast was to clear and become humid, 33 degrees with no wind and boy ‘o’ boy was the weather man right.
Starting on the 14th hole I hit the green in regulation and made par. It was the next two holes were I made two pars that set up my round for the day. I would have to say the 15th hole was my best par save for 2017 due to were the drive ended up and the shot back to the fairway I had to do. Wedge shot to 2ft. Rest is history.
Hitting 17, 18, 1, 2, I made birdie on the 1st holing a 8m putt. On the long par 3 the 3rd from a plugged lie in the bunker I splashed out a wedge to 4ft and holed the par putt. Par at the 5th but another big save came at the par 3 6th.
2 par 5’s were to come in a row and it was disappointing to par them both hitting the greens in regulation and having 2 solid opportunities but I did birdie the next which wast the 8th hole hitting it to 2ft. Up and down at the 9th before hitting 10 and 11 making birdie on the 11th holing a 8m putt with another up and down at the last for par.
12 greens in regulation and 27 putts. Awesome to have another day under the 30 putt mark. Teeing off at the Ocean Shores Pro-Am tomorrow at 7am. Never played the course and heard great things so looking forward to the days play. @Casinogolfclub #LadbrokesProAm
