Casino Pro Am

After the Casino Pro Am I have shot a score of 74 +4 to place T37th hitting 10 greens and 31 putts.

Playing in the morning I had a chance to post a score with some calm conditions. Teeing off on the 5th hole a par 3 I missed the green on the front edge and made a bogey missing a 3m putt but bounced back with a solid birdie at 7 a par 5. I held steady tracking around even par as I went into the tough side across the road. Having chances at 10, 11 and 12 for birdie I missed them all going into the par 5 13th. Unfortunately I walked away with a bogey which felt like giving two shots back to the field.

At 14 I was in a great position off the tee and spun a ball of the front edge after landing behind the hole when I tried to take the spin off it taking an extra club and made bogey not making up and down. This is where I lost all momentum for the day and I needed to take on some bigger risks if I was to feature in the money for the day and could not grind it back from there.

Never the less a decent few days of golf and a profit was made. What I have learnt is to work on my short game for future events later in the year.
