Boynne Island Pro-Am Results
After round 1 of the Boynne Island Pro-Am I have shot a score of 51 (-1) to be T20th.
This course features only 13 holes for the pro-am and is played over two days to total 26. This most certainly could be the way of the future with golf taking up to 5 hours to play 18 holes with life getting busier and busier.
To start the event I played great golf being 3 under through 6 holes to then face a par 5 on the next where I hit the fairway having 7 iron in missing the green and not making the up and down for birdie.
With 2 holes to go I choose a 6 iron off the tee at 12 to lay up short of the water which was 203m from the tee to find it had ended up in the hazard making bogey while a 3 putt on the last ended the day with a sour taste in my mouth.
The 2nd round I am teeing off at 12noon.
