3rd Round Henan Open – PGA Tour China
At the Henan Open, PGA Tour China the 3rd round has been cut to nine holes after constant rain keeping the putting surface (greens) underwater. It wasn’t until 4 hours later that we where able to commence the round for today.
The officials decided to only play nine holes and go home as further heavy rain was forecast for late afternoon. Personally I have never heard of this. Normally you would just continue on till a weather delay happened again.
For the nine holes I shot a 36 (Ev). In constant rain till the end of the 6th hole I was one under after birding the par 5 2nd, paring the rest.
There was a birdie chance at 7 from 12 feet which missed to go to 2 under which would have proved massive going into tomorrow but again I give the only birdie I had back on the 9th. This has been the same story all week. 27 holes to play tomorrow!
