2nd Round Ron Crouch Wagga Wagga Pro-Am

After the 2nd round of the Wagga Wagga Pro-Am I have shot a score 71 (-1) to be 1 under total coming T5th.

The day was spot on with the weather. A temperature that was perfect for golf with hardly a breath of wind but the Wagga Wagga greenskeeper I can say is a legend. The greens were the best I have ever played in a Pro-Am event rolling 13’s for sure and firm. Just delicious! 👌🏼

With 4 pars to start with I birdied the 2nd hardest hole holing a 50ft putt before making bogey at the next, easy par 5. Missing the greens at 9, 10 and 11 I made up and down for pars to really keep the momentum going for the day.

This led to also making up and down at the 12th hole for birdie to get to 1 red for the day. Green in regulation play at 13 for par before another great up and down par at 14 the par 3. Hitting 15, 16 and 17 in regulation the only birdie came at 16, although walked away with a bogey at the last to end the event. Tough hole in its own right.

Overall I am amazed with my standard of golf coming T3rd, 2nd, T2nd and T5th over the past 8 days. Just over the moon!Thanks everyone for all the support. Teeing off at Murrumbidgee Pro-Am tomorrow at 7.50am.
