1st Round Mack Hall Cottesloe Open

After the 1st round of the Mack Hall Cottesloe Open I have had a score of 74 (+2) to be T22nd. Conditions were perfect today and the course was well presented.

Best part of the day was having 3 bounce backs after every bogey I had although I had another double bogey today on the card. Disappointing!

The double came mid round on the 18th after a poor drive ended in a fairway bunker. A skinny shot left me a short wedge in from the fairway where I missed the green on the edge 8m away from the pin. Choosing to chip it I did not get up and down.

Over the last few days my par 5 performance has been terrible and when an easy hole confronts me after I have performed on the harder stretch to get me in a position to climb the leaderboard I have made bogies or doubles instead of making birdies. Game changers.

None the less I am teeing off for round 2 at 11.30am and a chance to change this pattern tomorrow.
