1st Round Cadillac Open – PGA Tour China
After the 1st round of the Cadillac Championships, PGA Tour China Tour I have shot a score of 68 (-4) to be 6 under total and T26th.
Perfect conditions for golf today and there was some really low scores with an 11 and many 10 under par rounds. The leader currently sits at 18 under which is just incredible golf.
After a birdie at the par 5 2nd I followed it up with a bogey at the long par 3 making a slow start to the day. I gave myself 5 opportunities for birdies from then on but my 2nd birdie for the day came at the 9th. This birdie was key going into the back nine as it gave me some confidence.
From there I really could have shot the lights out, again just like the front nine I played excellent shots tee to green carding birdies at 12, 15 and 18 but narrowly missing birdie putts at 11 and 17 especially.
Looking forward to round 3 teeing off at 8.50am. 11 under over the weekend to beat my lowest 4 round total ever!
